Self-Compassion, Health, and Empowerment (SHE) for Chinese Immigrant Women Experiencing Intimate Partner Violence
This study is testing a program called the Self-Compassion, Health, and Empowerment (SHE) Intervention for Chinese immigrant women in the U.S. who have experienced intimate partner violence (IPV). The SHE Intervention includes phone discussions about safety, resources, and safety planning. It's compared to a Health and Nutrition Program with educational videos. The goal is to see if the SHE Intervention can help reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in these women. You may be able to join if you are a Chinese immigrant woman, 18 or older, living in the U.S., who has experienced IPV in the past year and has symptoms of depression, anxiety, or PTSD. The study is currently unclear on its recruitment status.
